Behind every good therapist is a good therapist.

Peer Consultation

Peer Consultation is an essential component of being a transformative therapist. Monthly peer consultations at RPY will provide:

  • Community networking and support from likeminded providers

  • Case review and clinical sharing

  • Access to consistent case consultation led by a seasoned trauma therapist

  • Documented case consultation for Cat B or II CE’s for license renewal

  • Group supervision hours for provisionally licensed clinicians in Maryland

Groups are closed groups that range from 4-8 members and cost $50/session or $549 for a year.

For Therapists

  • Peer Consultation for Newly Licensed Clinicians

Starting off as a therapist can be overwhelming and imposter syndrome can get the best of us. Topics include the “starting out” essentials from note taking and treatment planning to navigating hurdles and stuck points with clients. This group is designed for clinicians with <3 years of experiences and/or at the provisional license level and meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month at 1pm.

  • Peer Consultation for Trauma

This group is for counselors and social workers who work with trauma or are seeking trauma focused consultation. Modalities discussed include EMDR, parts work or systems theory and attachment focused interventions and covers all ages from child through adult. This group meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 1pm.

  • Lunch and Learn

Monthly educational groups will be offered on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 1pm. Guest speakers will provide expertise on special topics to provide opportunities for learning about specific topics that impact the work of a mental health clinician.
